PARTS & RETROFITS: DEAERATOR PARTS
Ecodyne’s proprietary valves and trays are what we consider to be the best in the industry.
Our aftermarket department can supply you with any replacement part needed on your Ecodyne Deaerator. From even the smallest of bolts our replacement parts department is here for you.
Deaerator Spray Valve
Spray Valves
Ecodyne spray valves are constructed of 316 series stainless steel, and are attached by three (3) bolt assemblies.
The body and single piece stem and plug are investment cast for precision and reliability. The valves are spring loaded and self-adjusting to assure that the water is sprayed in controlled thin films at loads form less than 10% to over 150% of rated capacity. This feature assures heating of inlet water to within 2º F of the steam temperature at all load conditions and, in addition, provides proper distribution to the second stage deaerator.
The controlled spray pattern ensures maximum efficiency of the internal vent condenser. The valves are installed in the heater so that they are easily accessible for inspection. Experience has shown that this spray valve construction is free from difficulties of scaling or corrosion. The spray valves are designed to give minimal pressure drop.
Deaerator Tray
Deaerator Trays
Ecodyne high efficiency stainless steel trays are manufactured in a single forming and are of extremely rugged construction.
They utilize a unique lock-together assembly feature and are easy to install. In addition, there are no welds or rivets to fail in these trays. Tray stacks within the tray compartment are interlocked via integral snap clips. Each stack is held securely in place by three separate systems.
The first, a J-bolt firmly fastens the bottom tray to the grating floor of the tray compartment. The second system, a trough hold down (distributing trough), compresses from the top tray down. The third system, a hold down bar assembly, pins the top hold down trough to the underside of the bottom tray grating floor where it is bolted in place. The entire system together prevents any trays from becoming dislodged as a result of any operation upset. Our experience with this hold down design has been very favorable and reliable.
The multi-weir design provides a longer weir edge per unit volume and assures more complete deaeration at all loadings.
Our standard tray material is 430 stainless steel, as is the standard material in the industry.
Our trays are non-welded assemblies and are stamped from a single piece of 430 stainless steel. The feritic stainless steel is stronger, more rigid and is better suited for stamping than an austenitic stainless steel such as 316. As well, the 430 s.s. is a superior material in withstanding chloride induced stress corrosion cracking.
Maximum efficiency is assured by our exclusive designs.
